Scubapro is synonymous with safety and innovation. Jaqueline Bisset, who wore the first silicone mask for the company in The Deep (1977), was the one that introduced the term "Hypoallergenic" to the rest of the world. Scubapro was also responsible for the creation of the AIR2, the first alternative inflator regulator. It combines a BCD-inflator and an octoregulator. Today, the AIR2 can still be purchased. Dick Bonin
Scuba pro, Dick Bonin, died on December 8th. He lived over 40+ years in Huntington Beach. Bonin was an accomplished man, but he was also a kind and generous person who treated all people equally. Dick was responsible to some of the most advanced diving equipment lines ever made. He also loved his family very much. It is a sad day in the diving community.
