Types of Freedive Courses

A freediving training course can help you learn how to freedive. You can choose from a variety of courses, so whether you are an expert or amateur, a freediving class could be right for you. There are many different freedive courses to choose from: PADI Advanced Freediver, NAUI Basic, SSI basics, and Molchanovs.

PADI Advanced Freediver Course

PADI Advanced is a great place to learn more about freediving. This course will teach you how and when to use apnea, as well as correct breathing techniques for longer diving. Additionally, you'll learn how to rescue freedivers in an emergency and how to perform in freefall.

After you have successfully completed PADI Advanced Freediver, you will be eligible for the Instructor course. This is the next step in the freediving career path. This course will help you master both a static and dynamic breath hold. Other skills that you will learn in this course include no-fins diving, managing a buoy and rope, and mouth fill. During the course, you will have the chance to help an instructor.

NAUI Basic Freediver Course

The NAUI Basic Freediver Course is designed for people who want to learn to freedive and improve their freediving skills. It's a four-hour course that includes both classroom discussion and pool time. It will teach you the fundamentals of freediving, including the physics and physiology of freediving. It also covers proper breathing techniques and equalization for deep diving. You must be at minimum 12 years old, and have sufficient swimming skills.


Before you enroll in a more advanced course, it is important that you have at minimum a bit of experience freediving. This course will provide you with the fundamentals you need and prepare you to take on more advanced training. Once you've completed the course, you can go on to become a PADI Freediver. You will be able freedive with a buddy at the pool or ocean.

SSI Basic Course in Freediver

The SSI Freediver Basic Course will teach you the fundamental skills needed to dive in the ocean. The course combines classroom training with practice in the water. There are two open water sessions and one pool session. At the end of the course, you'll have earned the SSI Basic Freediver certification.

The SSI Basic Freediver program will help you swim 400m, dive 50m in CWT (50 meters), freedive 20m, and perform a simulated Blackout. You can also swim to the surface. It will also give you the skills and knowledge you need to dive to 40 meters or deeper. SSI's certification programs are internationally recognized. You will be able dive in all oceans. The SSI Basic freediver course is a great way for you to get wet, and discover if you love freediving.

molchanovs freediving course

The Molchanovs freediving course will take you from beginner to competitive freediver. There are four levels to choose from, including a Lap Course that will prepare you for freediving in a swimming pool. Once you complete the Lap course, you'll be able to move on to a Wave course, which will teach you how to safely freedive in open water.

Molchanovs has developed a comprehensive freediving program with the help of some of the best freedivers in the country. It also includes online training and personal training. This program teaches you how freedive properly from day one. It has the finest instructors with the most knowledge and passion for teaching. After completing your course, you may continue your training online.
