St Lucia has many excellent scuba diving spots. Trou Diable is also available. Anse Chastanet, Trou Diable and Anse Cochon North & South all make excellent scuba diving locations. The plateau is a good spot for drift diving because of the strong currents that run over the plateau. In this area, you will find large shoals, stingrays, nurse sharks and turtles.

Anse Chastanet

You'll find a profusion of unusual tropical marine life at Anse Chastanet, a popular scuba diving destination in St Lucia. The reef is home for over 150 different species and can be found from 20 to 140 feet below the surface. It is also a favorite spot for underwater photography.

The Anse Chastanet resort can be found in a peaceful setting near the Pitons, and close to some of the island's most famous reefs. The resort was established in 1968. There are now 48 rooms, with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding areas. It is located between two steep hillsides and two ridges. This gives it a breathtaking location.

Anse Cochon North & South

Anse Cochon North & South Reef are two dive sites that can be explored by scuba divers. Both can be reached by the beach from a depth of about 10 to 40 feet. They are great dive sites for beginners and easy-level divers. While the northern side of the reef is home to more coral, reef fish are plentiful at either end. Expect to see trumpetfish, sea whips, and eels, as well as octopus.

In the south end of Anse Cochon, the Lesleen M is an old cargo ship, which the Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia sank in 1986 as an artificial reef. The seagrass beds that attract many species of fish surround the sunk vessel. The wreck was intentionally sunk in order to create a diving site. You might also see stingrays or barracudas.
