Saint Lucia offers many diving opportunities, no matter if you are an expert diver or newbie. The east coast offers excellent coral reefs, and the north and south ends are also ideal because of the shelter from easterly trade winds and potentially hazardous wave conditions. A number of skilled divers are also found in Saint Lucia. Many of these dive operators can be found close to major resorts. This makes it an ideal location to study a beginner course or for certification.
Scuba diving Saint Lucia truly is an extraordinary experience. The warm water, rich marine life, and fascinating wrecks make it a top choice for scuba diving enthusiasts. This paradise is home of 22 world-class diving sites that are perfect both for beginners and more experienced divers.

Anse Cochon North & South
Anse Cochon North & South Reef is a pair of sites for scuba divers located between the two islands. Both sites can be reached from the beach, and they range in depth between 10-40 feet. These sites are ideal for beginners as well as advanced divers. The northern reef is home for more coral, but there are plenty of reef fish at both ends. As well as the octopus you can see sea whips, trumpetfishes and sea whips.
Anse Cochon's south end is home to the Lesleen M, an abandoned cargo ship. The Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia used it as an artificial reef in 1986. The seagrass beds that attract many species of fish surround the sunk vessel. The wreck was intentionally sunk in order to create a diving site. You might also see stingrays or barracudas.
