NAUI eLearning costs less than a full course at a dive center. Once you have completed the eLearning course, you'll meet an instructor for your first classroom session. In the classroom you will learn about the science of diving and how to select the right SCUBA equipment. You will also learn about responsible diving practices. The advanced scuba class is an option for NAUI members to continue their education. This course includes eight open water dives. The course also includes advanced procedures, underwater navigation, as well as emergency response. Upon completion of the course, the student will receive a NAUI certification card and NAUI registration. You will also find a range of online resources to assist you in your advanced certification dive.
Randy's Dive Shop offers a variety of courses
The RANDY’S DRIVE SHOP is a fantastic place to learn scuba dive. You can choose from a variety of classes that cover both the basics as well as advanced scuba diving techniques. Each class is individual and requires registration. The instructor teaches from theory to pool sessions. Classes are held on consecutive weekends from 8am to 5:30pm with some exceptions. Students are required to attend all classes and must bring their own lunches.
Randy's Dive Shop can be found in Westmoreland County. It has been open for 40 years. After moving to the area, the McGhees started the business and have operated the shop for over 40 years from their home. Van and Barb Mchee retired.
