Which PADI Diver level 2 certification is right for me?

If you are looking to become a PADI Diver, you are probably wondering about which certification you need to get started. A few of the common questions people ask are: Do you need a Medical Certificate, a CMAS card, or a PADI advanced course? What about the cost?

You may be interested in working in the marine industry by taking the PADI Rescue Diver Course. It is the same course as the CMAS Rescue Diver course, but there are some differences. The PADI course requires that you are a Divemaster or Rescue Diver. Dive tech is also possible. These positions require specialized training and a high level of experience.

PADI's diver certification program has many benefits. With over 5,300 diving centres in more than 160 nations, PADI is the most recognised and recognized diving training organization. Its members comprise 75 percent the world's divers centers and are responsible for certifying more divers than any other group.

A padi diver requires a medical certificate

Before becoming a PADI diver you will need a medical certification. You must take the PADI self assessment and send it to your doctor for your certification. The physician will then issue you a certificate that you are fit to dive.


Course costs

PADI Diver Level 2 Courses can cost you a range of prices. PADI is a top-rated training program, but there's also SSI that's cheaper. SSI offers a cheaper option for backpackers who don't want or need to spend a lot. SSI is much cheaper and allows you to borrow their study material. You don't even need to bring books. You can also order your certificate online with their app.

Distance learning options to become a Padi Diver

Distance learning is an option if you want to take the PADI diver level 2 certification. One of these is eLearning, which you can complete online. You will need to complete a quick review questionnaire in order to receive your training document. This course can be completed over several weeks or in a single weekend.

Course requirements for a padi diver

An Instructor Development Course is required to become a certified scuba instructor. After completing the Instructor Development Course, you will be responsible for teaching students and granting different levels of scuba diving certification. The course cost approximately $220.
