Puerto Viejo

The transportation situation is an important consideration when planning your Puerto Viejo vacation. Puerto Viejo has no parking lot so locals park by the side of the road. If you are driving yourself, make sure to leave your car at your lodging and explore the town center on foot or by bicycle. There are two options: either take a red taxi to get around town, or you can call a taxi at any of the local businesses.
